Parenting Support for all families, including families raising children with disabilities
I believe that counseling can bring hope and healing. It can bring relief for feelings like depression, anxiety or stress. It can help you become a friend to yourself, listen to your inner truth, work through grief/loss and trauma, and help you begin again.
I see relationship at the heart of counseling -- not only with others, but also with ourselves!
I created Compass Rose Counseling to be a place where you feel accepted for who you are, so you can work though the difficulties that bring you to counseling and take the steps for the change you seek in your life.
Individuals have always made up a portion of my private practice.
It would be my honor and privilege to talk with you and see how we might work together.

Counseling for Teens
I see counseling as a place where teens can be themselves, and feel listened to and accepted for who they are. Especially these days, teens can really benefit from counseling to find support and help manage the many stresses and worries they experience.
The teen years are also an opportunity to set a foundation for life-long habits, including managing feelings of anxiety, stress, or sadness; friendship and relationship skills; and wellness habits.
My training includes an intensive internship at Richland School District 2 where I counseled students (especially middle and high school students) and their families.
As a systemically oriented therapist, I also work with parents/caregivers of teens.
I invite you to contact me about counseling for teens.
